TIME CHANGE OF SPECIAL MEETING -APRIL 14, 2015

In accordance with the provisions of the New Jersey Open Public Meetings Act, the Little Falls Board of Education of the Township of Little Falls is causing notice that the scheduled Special Meeting of Tuesday, April 14, 2015 which will be held in the Art Music Room #100 at School No. 3, located at 560 Main Street, Little Falls, NJ 07424 will begin at 5:30 p.m. rather than at 6:00p.m. The Regular Board Meeting will follow at 7:30 p.m.

In accordance with the provisions of the New Jersey Open Public Meetings Act, the Little Falls Board of Education of the Township of Little Falls is causing notice that Special Meetings will be held in the Art/Music Room #100 at School #3, 560 Main Street, Little Falls, New Jersey as follows:


Monday, April 13, 2015 6:00 p.m.. - Superintendent Candidate Interviews

Tuesday, April 14, 2015 6:00 p.m. - Superintendent Candidate Interviews

Friday, April 17, 2015 6:00 p.m. - Superintendent Candidate Interviews

The Board will immediately enter into Executive Session for the purpose of interviewing candidates for the Superintendent’s position. It is expected that no formal action will be taken and no public input.

Applications for Superintendent/Principal, to start on or after July 1, 2015 now being accepted

The Board of Education is seeking a dynamic, "hands-on" school leader with integrity, high professional standards, and demonstrated success in promoting academic achievement in a K-8 district. The successful candidate will be a proven instructional leader and will foster an excellent climate by mentoring and supporting staff, promoting meaningful assessments of progress, and valuing high levels of parent and community involvement.

The final candidate must hold or be immediately eligible for the appropriate NJ Supt. Certification and will be offered a competitive salary package commensurate with experience and state guidelines.

In order for the Board to arrive at the best possible decision, it is asking for input from the parents, community and staff to assist the Board in clarifying the profile of the final candidate, and to provide our stakeholders with information about the hiring of the next Superintendent of Schools.

Homeless/Displaced Students : If anyone knows of a homeless or displaced student that is now residing in the district, please have them contact Mr. William T. Petrick, Superintendent of Schools and Mr. Jim Schoeneich, Homeless Liaison, at (973) 256-1034. The homeless liaison and school district staff will assist homeless/displaced students with student-related services
